The tree is a symbol in many cultures of the sacred bond of life. The amazing story of the tree and the forests is both primal and awe filled. Trees have been the center of history, religion, and natural science. They have much to teach us, the latecomers on this home we call earth. The human species has existed only 0.1 percent of the time that the trees have lived on this planet. Perhaps it is time to listen to their story and what they have to teach us.
