Aly’s been telling stories for over 30 years and telling bad jokes for even longer. If you ever had to endure one of the jokes, just remember, it’s storytelling practice. Sometimes ‘facts’ clash with belief and fall unexamined to the ground. Aly appreciates the way ‘story’ touches people and becomes part of their inner landscape. Truth will be dressed in their Sunday best. Who visits the woodman? What does flossie know? How was the world really created?

By way of introduction, Aly says, “I’ve walked a few paths in my life; massage therapist, fiber artist, poet, storyteller. I’ve told stories for over 30 years, mostly in North America. I’ve been a UU since the 80s and have appreciated the diversity and inclusivity, especially of the coffee hour. Being enchanted with words ,fabric and the universe, I love the creative crafting of beauty and wisdom that humans express. The integrity and beauty of nature with the creativity of people inspires me.”
