Radical, Transformational Welcome

The world we live in today feels more divided than ever. In this time of fear, political division, and pushback against civil rights, faith communities are needed – not just to imagine a better world, but to actively help that world come into being. a service about how we can create a culture, here at QUUF, that fully breaks down divisions of race, class ability, age, sexuality, gender, politics, and more; a culture in which each of us is supported in embodying radical, transformational inclusion.

Zr. Alex Kapitan worked for eight years at the UUA’s national office, supporting anti-racism, Welcoming Congregation, and social justice programming and organizing. After leaving the UUA, Alex co-founded the Transforming Hearts Collective, which does workshops, trainings, and consultancies with faith communities around radical welcome and culture shift.
