Letting go of comparisons and what other people think led this late bloomer down a path to self-acceptance and allowed others to see not only a truer, but happier person. I will share how accepting invitations for creativity and play caused a critical shift in my attitude and self-limiting behavior.

About Joanna Sanders: Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, where her father graduated from Johnson Bible College, the Sanders family moved back home again to Indiana and spent the majority of their lives in Indianapolis. Once her daughters were born, she and her family moved to Port Townsend. Joanna has been involved at QUUF in various capacities over the last 20- years. She is the City Clerk at the City of Port Townsend and has two daughters in college. She enjoys her job, all kinds of dance, basketball, and her family and friend connections.
