A Lot of Questions

A lot of questions, no answers, but a few ideas: At a crossroads. After practicing medicine for nearly 25 years in Port Townsend, I am retiring this fall, approaching my “last career” with a mixture of gratitude, excitement, and anxiety. I’ll be sharing some thoughts about where I might be headed and reflecting on the path that lead to this place in my journey. I moved to Port Townsend with my young family in early 1999, when my wife Karen and I joined Jefferson Healthcare as their first employed physicians. We raised our daughters Ellie and Clare in the Fellowship after becoming members in 2002. I have participated in the life of QUUF as an RE teacher, youth advisor, ALPs student, and board member over the years. I’m grateful for the sense of community and wholeness that QUUF has brought to my life.
