Pledge Campaign
The Pledge Campaign Team is responsible for conducting the annual pledge campaign in support of the budget proposed by the Board of Trustees. Its work is vital to the ongoing success of the fellowship.
When we work together, we give time and talents as well as financial support for what we strive for.
- Giving is a tangible expression of our commitment to QUUF as a center for liberal religion on the Quimper Peninsula.
- Giving is our compassion made visible, supporting UUA services around the world as well as our local social justice actions and programs.
- Giving is a demonstration of community, as our cumulative gifts accomplish together what we cannot do as individuals.
- Giving is a challenge to live our values. We are constantly bombarded with decisions about how to spend our money, and our choices say a lot about what is important to us.
- Giving also engages our critical thinking: we need to be assured that what we give in used wisely and in line with our agreed-upon goals.
Here is info about this year’s pledge drive. It is coordinated by Donna Frostholm, JoAnne Heron, Zoe Ann Lamp, Robin Stemen (Chair) and Cris Wilson. Here’s a link to their mini-biographies.
