The Social & Environmental Justice Council (SEJC) is one of 5 councils reporting to the Program Council. It meets monthly to facilitate communication between social justice teams. We coordinate and organize social and environmental justice projects, broad-interest congregation-wide projects, and legislative action.

The SEJC Lead is Kathy Stevenson.

The purpose of the Social and Environmental Justice Council is:  

  1. To facilitate and coordinate social and environmental justice activities of the congregation.
  2. To provide members with meaningful opportunities to actively fulfill our UU Principles in the community.
  3. To promote broader awareness of social and environmental justice issues.
