The Board of Trustees approved this Board committee and its charter at the March 15, 2023 Board Meeting. The Board approved FCC to become a team starting July 1, 2024.

Chair: contact Patrick Johnson for more information.

Purpose:
Because fundraising is essential to the sustainability of QUUF, it is critical that fundraising be done in a strategic, efficient and coordinated manner.

Mission:
The Fundraising Coordinating Team (FCT) coordinates all the parts of the organization that must work together smoothly in order to implement the budgeted fundraising goals. This includes coordinating and optimizing the efforts of:

  • the fundraising role of the board
  • the Finance committee
  • the pledge campaign team
  • the Auction Team and Dining for Dollars Team
  • the endowments committee
  • a recommended new legacy giving committee
  • and all non-pledge fundraising efforts

QUUF is totally self-supporting. We always need helpful hands and enthusiasm. Throughout the year fundraisers are facilitated including:

– Auction in November
– Book Sale
– Dining for Dollars in February
– Rummage Sale
– Spring Concert Series
– UU’re Home

The Spring Pledge Campaign is in support of the budget proposed by the Board of Trustees. Its work is vital to the ongoing success of the fellowship. When we work together, we give time and talents as well as financial support for what we have established.

  • Giving is a tangible expression of our commitment to QUUF.
  • Giving is a demonstration of community, as our cumulative gifts accomplish together what we cannot do as individuals.
  • Giving is our compassion made visible, supporting UUA services around the world as well as our local social justice actions and programs.
  • Giving is a challenge to live our values.  We are constantly bombarded with decisions about how to spend our money, and our choices say a lot about what is important to us.
  • Giving also engages our critical thinking: we need to be assured that what we give in used wisely and in line with our agreed-upon goals.

Questions concerning volunteering, fundraising and stewardship may go to Jenell, our Congregational Administrator.
