A-HA! (Agnostics, Humanists, Atheists)
A-HA! was a program of QUUF, meeting in Fellowship Hall on the first and third Sundays of each month (Oct-June) from 4:30 to 7pm. Everyone is welcome to our salon gathering which consists of shared potluck dinners, building community, and discussion of topics suggested by A-HA participants. Topics typically relate to interests in the sciences, philosophy, morality, ethics, and social or world concerns. A short introduction to the evening’s topic is presented, followed by facilitated open discussion. You need not consider yourself an agnostic, humanist, or atheist to be welcomed! The diversity of perspectives provided by new participants is encouraged.
Typically, the potluck dinner runs from 5 to 5:45pm, and the discussion from 5:45 to 6:45pm. Those coming for the potluck are asked to bring a main dish, side item, or dessert for 6-8 people, their choice of beverage, plates, and silverware. From mid-June to early September, there is no potluck.
We are currently seeking a new team leader. If you are interested, please contact the head of the Program Council, Diane Haas.
