Introduction to Religious Education
The Mission of the Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Religious Education Program is to provide an environment that nurtures spiritual growth and opportunities for religious discovery through teaching and modeling our seven Unitarian Universalist Principles.
At QUUF we are engaged in a life-long search for truth and meaning in our lives. As participants in our Religious Education Program, we explore our roots, our heritage, and the language and meaning of religion. We offer no indoctrination, but rather an opportunity to explore one’s own questions and shape one’s own convictions.
Visitors Always Welcome
Families are invited to visit at any time – our classes are designed to facilitate drop-ins with ease and we always welcome new faces. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay with their child to check out the program or help a child feel more comfortable, or support their child to attend independently. We want to do what works for you and your family- we know each child is unique, and has unique needs. Please contact our Director of Family Ministry Beau Ohlgren at dfm@quuf.org for more information about current offerings and opportunities for connection.
Family Ministry
Families and family-support is a core piece of our mission here at QUUF. Whether or not your children attend our Religious Education programming, we want to support you. Our Director of Family Ministry, Beau Ohlgren, is here to support for pastoral needs, parenting questions, and family support in any way we can provide. Please do reach out if you would like to connect. He can be reached at dfm@quuf.org.
